Cooking classes

Learning the skills and techniques for creating authentic French cuisine at home is a wonderful way to get more from your stay in the Dordogne.

Chef Fabrice Lemonnier offers hands-on, personalized cooking classes, which can be held in your own home or rental property.

Fabrice’s classes can include lessons in how to make bread and how to prepare a variety of other dishes – from entrées such as a terrine of foie gras, to main dishes such as chicken stuffed with cêpes or a fish of the day.

Along the way, Fabrice will share his knowledge of local ingredients, the area’s charming weekly markets, and culinary traditions of the Dordogne. He will also help you learn a variety of essential skills, from knife skills to sauce-making, from preserving duck to selecting appropriate wines. And once the class is done, you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying the meal with your group.

Note that classes require a minimum of six people.
